I've been more-or-less offline the last few weeks, and probably will be until mid-July. The quick update:
* Wrote a bunch of music for Fringe. Writing more.
* Made some non-music things happen for Fringe. Will make more things happen.
* Wrote a bit of music for a film short. Will tweak.
* Got piano and composition lessons rolling for summer session at MacPhail. Expensive books rise to top of wish list.
* Scouting new studio space for rehearsals in cooperation with a new dance business and Mischievous Djinn, which will be most excellent.
* Now prepping for fun music/sound additions to radio show at CONvergence. Thanks pied_piper70!
* Confirmed new contracting job starts 7/7. Hello paycheck my old friend, it's good to talk to you again.
* Starting arrangements for video and potential film short shooting in September. Much left to do.
* Figured out some of my more annoying problems with recording. Still not a sound engineer, but getting better than "really bad."
* Made initial pass-by of Macs. Pretty, must research how much/what type extra hardware needed for low latency music/video work.
* Started planning for dark romantic (my replacement phrase for the too-broad "gothic" courtesy of maatnofret) photo shoot/calendar. Still not a visual artist, but can't seem to stop things like that from invading my brain, so rolling with it.
* Looking for new t-shirt maker, unhappy with CafePress dark shirts.
* Arrived at concept for Halloween albums, so know what I'm doing in that direction now. May have time to pursue in 2009.
* Read player rules for D&D 4th Edition. Less interested. More interested in My Life with Master.
* Need to update and/or create 2½ web sites. Soon. Hrm.
