What a headache I have now
I actually got one of my small little checks today, so took it out and blew it. Well, not really. I did get some things that I had to have, such as shampoo and pants. I did though go a bit overboard on my girls and bought all three clothes. Jessy needed a coat and well, it felt good. Bad me. I did not spend too much, my check was too small to do that anyway. I got myself a zip up hoodie that has the grumpy dwarf on it and says," I am grumpy" It just fits my mood lately.
I am shocked. We bought Ana some wrist walkie talkies at Big Lots and one of them has dead batteries so we opened it up to find out what it needed. It turns out that it is the same batteries that the dog bark collar uses. So, we took the batteries out of the one that does work and put them into the dog collar. Pepper has barked twice since. The first time he backed up into the wall looking stunned. The second time he yelped in shock. Ok, so those collars might be a tad mean, but I think that in many cases, such as this one, it is the only way to go. This way the dogs learns that when he barks he gets shocked. I would think that a smart dog like a poodle would learn the lesson rather quickly, but than again this is a male and he is six. let's see how long it takes him to learn.
The day has come to an end. Wow, only one more day to go. I am so not liking the idea of work. Why can't I have Kim's life. Lay in bad till noon, drag myself out to feed the children than time to play online and watch soaps till just before the guys get home. A quick jump in the shower and maybe once in awhile I will get something on the stove for them. Sure she does watch her sisters' children, but her life does not change much when they are here either. I have seen her these past two weeks out here on the computer with four littles ones destroying the living room and Joe's room, while she does nothing. Than on weekends I can drink with the guys till I get drunk, puke and be stupid. Yep, sounds like she has a much better life than I, LOL
Bought Gabriel more cups today. It seems like his sippy cups disapear around here. I always try and get the ones that Sammy has not had, and that is not an easy task. If the cup itself does not disapear than the little stoper thingy from the inside does. I have had to watch his toys even these past two weeks. He has an adorable john deer tractor that he loves, but so do all the other children, so it spends more time out in Kim's room or the garage than in here. It is the perfect toy for Gabe, as he does not like to ride it yet, instead he pushes it around everywhere, while standing.
He is standing alot more and has taken a few steps now. The most at one time was three that I have seen. Still, he does not truly want to walk yet. Is it enough that he can when he wants? I worry about him. When will he be walking?
I am not sure what to say to the lady that we lease the horses from. I am not sure that I can afford them this month. Maybe we should just lease one of the two. Since it would be for Jessy I would have to say we would want the old morgan mare instead of the paint. I will email her tomorrow. The fellow I am buying Lizy's trumpet from has been so kind and even told me that he has no problem if I do not pay him at all this month and just start again this coming month. What an awesome person.
I bought the dog some of those little champion dinners. I think that is what they are called. The cutsie pouched food. He is not a big dog and I would like to spoil him a bit. He also got some snacks that he seems to like alot. He has lost a bunch of weight since coming here and I do not want him to lose any more. I know that mostly it has to do with the daily walks that I am sure he was not used to getting ever let alone daily. He gets more than enough naughty people snacks to keep any dog pudgy. He has been dewormed and is up to date on everything. I got his vet records with him.
Here comes Gabriel to pester. No matter who is on the computer that is the person he wants to hold him. Luis made the mistake in allowing him to play with the keyboard and now he wants to do it all the time. We are going to have to get one of those children's toys that looks like a computer or if I get a nicer keyboard we will save this one for him to play with for awhile. I better let him sit with me for awhile. I can go through craigslist and such while he sits with me, just hard to type, as I hide the keyboard away.
