Earth DAY!
So earth day rocked! S.A.V.E. even got national ABC AIRTIME! on the discussion of earth day. w00t w00t! the puppet show was great, a lil kid invited us to his elementary school. our speakers were wonderful! it was just a great day! learned a lot about permaculture and when I move in with davey I really want to incorporate a lot of that. What a great event! it was neat to see just so many people out there, not just fringe hippies, but the whole family! my boss tim, even came out. my actors are the best people in the whole world! couldn't have done this without them! even though our set went through a rough time, eventually it stood it's ground and we got two great performances out of it! major props to Ant for wearing make up! Another thing that Earth day did for me is make me realize how much I love the creative arts, writting this script and making the puppets and rehearsing and I just, I love the whole experience. I don't know why I tried to get out of it this semester. but oh well. this girl will get back in up in North Georgia I suppose. Even if Seth has just been being incredibly sweet, he's convinced me that this is where I need to be, in creative stuff, weather he realizes it or not. He's boasted about me so much, and made me think, am I really good at it? thanks man! What an amazing man! Can't wait to see what he does in SEAC! **giggles** earth day was just so great!
so this amazing day made it really hard on me and my decision to move back home. I know it's where I need to be, with davey and family and with my head screwed on straight, I know I need to be there, I just, I'll miss the S.A.V.E. group, but I can always get something going in N. Georgia, if there isn't already a group there.
I'm excited! the Georgia campus organizer for SEAC called me up and wants to write a song about my tattoo and my mom, he said last time he was here that he thought my tattoo was beautiful and the story behind it was even more beautiful. I can't wait!
Everything is just, peaceful, it's about time too. It's going to be hard to leave this group, but it will be worth it to be home too.
