unemployment check, part 2

( jobz, part 1)

about 40 applications sent out this week. a lot of cafe jobs, sadly. some progress made.
really keeping my fingers crossed that the english tutoring job can become something steady,
allowing for an extra few hundred dollars in the evenings even if i manage to get a regular office gig
as my main source of income.

the hotel roger williams i saw stationery for in an expense account (for an exec at my company) when i was working... god, they look amazing. also exorbitant. your link is broken for them, btw. but that seems like a decent hourly wage, and benefits. lots and lots of job applications. i admire your tenacity. good luck to you.

fixed the link:)

the hotel does look amazing and i'm considering stopping by there to see if that'll help me get the job. it seems so simple and potentially flexible enough to let me read when the day is quiet.

16$/hour + benefits is really something for me right now.
if i really have to do another 8$ cafe bar for very long i'm really not going to be very happy.

i appreciate the well-wishes. just hoping that the odds will soon be in my favor.

Which Amy's Bread? I think we had coffee once in the one near my old office. So long as you are not getting paid enough, it is at least nice to have meals taken care of.

ohyeah.. i remember that now.
i'd likely be working at the store on bleeker though,
which i think would be a better crowd that the tourists uptown.
as for the meals, i'm keeping my fingers crossed.
food and rent are the biggest money-suckers for me right now, after all.
