got the scoop today that after Michael leaves in october i will be living with the new male teacher at the school...he is a supposed photo journalist from mississippi...and is "super excited to travel and see the world and to have the opportunity to enrich young minds"...and yes, that is a direct quote...W-A-N-K-E-R....
momma newman rolls off these shores in the morning...its been entertaining trying to explain and rationalize some of the smaller bits of south korean society...i don't think she quite got the gist of most of it, but hey, i tried....
having mom here has made me quite homesick...i don't so much miss BR or a certain city, just the people and things that reside in them...proximity is something of an issue for me now being that besides Michael, my nearest close friend is in Prague...adaptation is the name of the game now...i do miss things back home, but were i to go home, i would be back on a plane as soon as my gumbo bowl was empty and all my friends were hungover...that being said, when i roll back stateside in Nov of 2006 all you bitches better tuck your dicks/tits and show this man a rolling good time...
have to go write a lesson plan for my 3rd graders...
