This was absolutely brilliant. It also resonated with me for a lot of reasons, which made it even more painful/amazing to read. I'm also loving the happy end, and the fact that it rings true in this case, even though a crush like that is all too often unrequited in real life. I'd even go as far as to suggest that this is the best story you've written so far, but it's probably a lot to do with me connecting to it so much.

If you don't know it already, I really love all your writing, and I really hope you've got more in store for us in the near future.

I think it's a story many many people can relate to, unfortunately the love between friends is never as level as one would wish it to be. Hey, maybe that's why people like the idea of LilyKat, because it's always nice to think that if it happens to them, it can happen period.
It's alright to like this one moreso than others because you relate to it more, all writing is more poignant when you personally feel it, and that's a great thing about writing, and one of the higher reasons why I love to write.

Recently she hasn't mentioned him in interviews and Kat's constant emphasis on Olli brought this idea to me.
Incidentally, Lily herself thinks she's straight throughout the entire fic, too, until the very end. So..that is my defense. :P
