Haha I'm sorry, I'm going to admit I'm just..really really not a Freddie fan. Never was, never will be. Le sigh. Agreed! Effy was unstable, probably more than Naomi, but less than Cook. But she had it all...a bit more under control than both. Maybe she could lose grip of it, maybe, but it was executed poorly, and there was no climb to it, they just...made it happen :( Will Young, then? Wikipedia tells me he's famous in Britain, which would explain his epic entrance. I just saw the way they set it up and thought, "Ooop. OOOoop. He's famous. I don't know why, but he's famous in their country." I am...I am sorry. I just can't bring myself to feel for Freddie. I just don't think he's tragic. I think he doesn't deal with things they way he could. The other characters I find deal with their familial situations as best as they can, and that's what makes them classic (by classic I mean greek) tragic, they do all they can and still they fall. Freddie I find just makes stupid mistakes, and doesn't have any respect for his family, for his friends. I just don't see the hype around him. So sorry :(
Get on lilykatlove, apparently the last episode is 'pretty much Naomi's' can you spell EXCITEMENT?
Nah, it's cool, I completely get why you wouldn't like Freddie. Like, if you didn't like Naomi I'd have a whole bunch of reasons as to why she's awesome, but with Freddie it obviously just works on an individual basis.
And in control was a good description for Effy, insofar as a self-destructive person can be. It seemed like she could switch her behaviour on and off, whereas Cook was stuck in the cycle whatever happened.
I cannot imagine what thought-process went into NOT giving Naomi an episode. Not pleased. Although, as an upside, we'll get to see everyone else's situations through the eyes of my favourite, which'll make those bits more appealing than if they were just jammed randomly into an exclusively-Naomi ep.
I identify a ridiculous amount with Naomi so forgive me if I don't swoon :P I also don't understand how people fall so hard for her. I mean I can? But I don't... I can't understand why they wouldn't give her one either, it makes no sense to me whatsoever. After Emily, she was the most popular character of Series 3 and clearly the most popular actress, even above Kaya. Which sucks for Kaya. But oh well, people love the Loveless.
