Look at how far away I was! ): But it was still a lot better than I expected actually. The good thing about a dome. Eehee!
We are T~
I swear Fated was the best song to kick start a concert, seriously what better choice could there be? The magnificence of the song and the instruments that resounded in the dome were perfect to get the audience going! The boys descended in their respective carriers/lifts and the crowd screaaamed when the actual flesh was finally in front of our eyes. Both of them were donned in white cloaks and yummy black boots. Needless to say, they looked really good! The next two songs were Android and Superstar and I realised Changmin wasn't in his top condition for that night. His throat sounded too tight and it made his low notes come out weird. I'm not an expert in music, but after listening to the same voice for so long, I can tell when it's different. His high notes were still awesome though. Yunho, on the other hand, was flawless, nya~
After I Don't Know, it was talk time! It's not a joke how much Big East loves hearing Tohoshinki talk. They always, without fail, go 'eehhhhhh' when Changmin introduces the next song. Regardless of how many times they have done this, what I love even more is how the boys always smile and gently tells them, "we are singers, not emcees." *Tears of laughter* I sat beside a fan who was in her 40s and really, she laughed at everything Changmin said. I could tell how much she enjoyed listening to them. Although I said the boys were very kind... Changmin caught us by surprise when we thought he was gonna talk more by gesturing Yunho to stand beside him but the next word that came out of his mouth was, "Still". LOL, we were played, thoroughly played. (':
And so, we drenched ourselves in their voices for the next few ballad songs.
The next upbeat track was Y3K. Honestly I can't remember any of their VCRs except that they were always running, flying, holding some guns though I remember laughing because the videos were always filled with cheese. Y3K is my favourite track in the album and the live was amazing. The part where they had to sing, 'come on~'? They sang it with the come-hither gesture and I swear, everyone quivered and went kyaaaaaaaaaaa... Ok, me too but I regret nothing. HAHAHHAA. Purple Line was met with screams and cheers, totally different from SMTOWN Singapore... hahaha. Humanoids came after that and I loved it so much! They did a dance break and it completely intensified the part where Changmin screamed, "everybody make some noise!!!!" God, my heart almost jumped out and chased after Changmin.
Taking a break from aggressive dance songs, it was time for the band introduction and some more ballads. They used the same band as TONE because I recognised the handsome bass player, hyahahahah. Soon enough, it was time to talk again! (: The boys did this exercise called the 'Of Course Exercise' and I didn't really grasp its meaning and all, but Yunho was hella cute when he was doing it. Watch the fancams, people! (: It didn't matter if I didn't understand Japanese completely but this year's gags were a lot more gratifying because body gags are kinda international right? Hahaha. Yunho was such a sweetheart, as always. Japanese in Osaka speak a certain dialect called the 'Kansai-ben' and Yunho really knew how to please the crowd by saying, "meccha suki yanen~ Honma ya de~" which means I really like everyone, really! Awww, he even repeated it a couple of times. <3
The next song was Rat Tat Tat and the boys taught us some moves to dance along to. I still can't get over how amusing this song is. Boom boom boom BOOM! Hahaha. The boys had their solo songs after that but I don't remember much about them ): Yunho was sexy and Changmin was... sexy too, LOL. A few old songs were sang and I was so happy to hear Survivor. Fireworks flew and everyone screamed. Throughout the entire concert, none of the songs garnered as much screams and cheers as Catch Me did. Some of the fans also tried to do the cheers like how Cassiopeia did. CATCH ME IF YOU WANNA~ Did I mention that the stylists were getting more and more creative for Catch Me? Lol. The lights they wore on their arms and body emitted different colours and it looked amazing against their sexy white clothes that had a few cut-outs at the side to tease fans. Naughty.
Sigh, I wanna see Catch Me again.
They took an encore break and as usual, the fans chanted Tohoshinki throughout. I'm still amazed at the fans' stamina 'cos I was really just sitting there, rubbing my aching back and feet and waiting for the boys to come out again, lol. And oh, this time, I was surrounded by Changmin fans (: The girls behind were really supportive of him. (: When the boys did come out, they did it with a bang--Keep Your Head Down. I remember complaining watching the same performance on Youtube over and over again because that was really the only song they would perform back then. But when I saw it live, I totally understood why they kept doing it. The atmosphere and level of aggressiveness (naughty) were like the hearts that pumped blood through our veins. I loved how they used red lights for this song to make it even more alive. I LIKE FIERCE, HAHAHA. 'cos no other stars can do it except for our boys (':
After KYHD, they talked about the next song which Changmin pretended to forget its title. We were such good sport to go along with, "eeehhhh". Hahahah. It was Ocean. In my opinion, I think this was the track to replace Somebody to Love because it was such a happy and danceable song. If I knew Japanese better, I'd feedback and suggest we could do the 'ooga, jaka, ola' ultraman hand movements with them, hahaha. It sounds so fun right?!
I don't remember when but the boys came around on their trolleys and a fan threw a fan to Changmin, he caught it, and used it to fan himself for the rest of the song. It was so cute. Even though they threw frisbees this time, I had zero hopes of catching any at all. Sigh. A few old tracks were sang before the finale song came up. Man, time always passed so fast with them ): The boys made us sing along to In Our Time and against all our will, it was time to say goodbye. Yunho talked about how he cried last year and how Tohoshinki only had 100 people who came to watch their debut in Japan. It was emotional but I believe most of us felt proud of them to have worked so hard to where they stand today.
They took turns to say goodbye to us and like every concert I have attended, the boys never failed to remind me that being their fan is one of the best things to happen in my life.
