Mother came home with a pet parrot today. And no, I'm not joking, I'm deadly serious, we have a parrot...his name is Gatwick....he likes to shit on mummintosh. Uuuuuhgstupidramblingoldbag. So now we have, 2 dogs, a cat, 2 rabbits, however many chickens and a parrot. Woooo ( Read more... )

A parrot? What species? If it's an African Grey (grey, sometimes with red and a grey beak) then I've read a book on how to teach them to speak properly. Like, with a comprehensive grasp of English! WOOOH!

I knew that cos most people have those as pets. He might have health problems, cos those parrots are inbred to make them pretty so people want them as pets. But hopefully not!

I can teach him proper English!!!!!!!!

Fair enough. But still... t'would be fun. Is he stuck in a cage?
African Greys are intelligent so you need to talk to them a lot to stimulate their minds. Or something. So when your bored, just chat to Gatwick. Tell him there's an airport with his name!

Well of course he has a cage, if he didn't he'd be shitting and flying all over the place (still need to get his wings clipped). But he does come out alot, so he's not always cooped up. Gatwick can play the whistle game, basically he whistles and you have to repeat it, but if you get it wrong he calls you a loser ^_^. FUN! But I can;t whistle T_T
