Dany had been a dragon when her fifteenth name day had come and gone. And while she didn't care -- it seemed to make little difference here what age she might be, and her peers still seemed to think she had experienced far more than the average Earth fifteen year-old should -- it made her a touch homesick, when she was human again. But in the rush of Homecoming and the weeks after, she'd forgotten.
Today, though, she'd made a point to follow her own small tradition. She'd gone to the bakery in town in search of something, and once she had it, Dany took it back to her room. She'd gotten herself a bundle of
lemon cakes, and sweet, spiced honey to eat with them -- a mix of her two homes.
"Happy name day to me," she murmured, offering a little bit of cake to Drogon, who perched at her side on the floor. And Dany tried not to be sad that this was her first without her brother, and that she was without husband or son or khalasar to celebrate.
