A department store on the mainland [Thursday evening]
Dany had absolutely no idea how to dress for a Homecoming, except that it was formal -- and she, decidedly, had nothing to wear. She'd burned her wedding gown, of course, so that was out (and she wouldn't, anyway) and Dothraki garments and even her loose gowns from the Free Cities wouldn't do.
So she had enlisted the help of her roommate. It had seemed wise at the time. And it was only kind to include other girls who might need guidance.
That was how a queen, a princess, a Borgia, the granddaughter of Death, a girl with yards of hair, a time-displaced Canadian and two completely (well, mostly) normal girls came to be in a department store, looking at Homecoming gowns.
Dany certainly couldn't explain it.
