You know how it is when people aren't as smart as you, but you can't explain that to them because they wouldn't understand?
Reading the "philosophy" (quotes necessary) community is just a riot nowadays, especially with all these self-appointed philosophers trying to be witty and derisive (and just looking rather dumb). It reminds me of [censored]'s email, with big words that the user doesn't understand. Don't they realize how silly they sound?
Am I an elitist bitch? Or is that just part of being intelligent and educated? I have a feeling that since only the other intelligent and educated people understand what I mean, perhaps I am just an arrogant intellectal. Then again, doesn't the stupidity of these people vindicate my elitism?
If anyone has come up with how to nicely explain that you can't argue with someone anymore because they're just not smart enough to understand what you're saying, let me know.
