You know, it's really hard to keep up with everybody when you forget to pack your journal with you when you go home.

Home wasn't all that great. I'd been looking forward to it since September. Mum was annoyed that I wasn't doing right by my teachers, and how didn't I have respect for them? I explained to him all about the little games they'd ( Read more... )

Yeah, sounds like a lot of us didn't have a great holiday. I'm not sure if I'm okay with saying I'm glad to be back. Did you try telling your parents about what was going on?

And thank you for your present. I'd have sent mine in the post, but I'm no where near a OWL Post office. I'll have yours at breafast for you.

No. I mean...I told my Dad that the school was being run by lunatics now, but who knows if that ever got to him. I'm fairly certain he wouldn't believe me anyway. He never believes me

Well there's a good reason to be up in time for breakfast! I'll bring you some ink, too, as it looks as though you've spilled all of yours. You do that a lot, Chasey. If you're not careful, you'll turn into a horrible clutz like me and everyone will start guarding their breakables when you're around.

I told my dad...he fought with my mum to keep me at home. She wasn't having that though. It's...just disheartening.

Your dad sounds alright. Smarter than your mum about the whole thing, anyway.

But it's fun to pretend, right? Either way, I can't read it. But I think that was the point.
