will somebody please tell me the logic -- not the explanation, the *logic* -- for why blockbuster, a "family establishment" (*sigh*) will not get mature, adult international art films in their original theatrical release form (bad education, shortbus, the dreamers, and most recently, lust caution), and will only rent the downplayed, altered r-rated

boo on blockbuster...one more reason to switch to netflix!

short bus was really good, and netflix got it for me they have no standards or scruples...much like me

haha, seriously. my only hangup is that i love blockbuster's in-store exchange policy. but i'm thinking i'll probably switch to netflix when i move.

aah, i'm sorry! i suppose i was on unintentional sabbatical. things got busy around the holidays and then i just got out of the habit of writing. and then it was two months later, and i was like "wow, i just lost touch with a whole mess of people ..."

i'll be sure to keep bringing the rantiness though -- no worries! :-) hope things are good with you!

I came to post my suggestion of netflix as well!! You can get anything on there, and if you watch movies pretty often it's cheaper than blockbuster as well, plus you never have to leave your house.

thanks!! yeah, like i told sarah, my only hangup is blockbuster's in-store exchange policy (i live 5 minutes from my town's store)... but when i move, i'll probably switch to netflix, on principle (or at least on cashflow, haha)

how are things with you? i've literally be writing 'email meredith' on my planner every week for about, oh, say, a month and a half? :-/ ... i am seriously SO BAD with email. (but dude, i promise to write and play catch-up at *least* before steph's wedding, haha, i swear!)
