Senior Pictures!
Today was a very busy, very stressful day, but fun in the end.
I woke up at 8:30, because I had to get my paycheck, and I had an appointment at Celebrity Day Spa for a manicure and a pedicure at 10, and that didn't get done until like 11:45. My nails came out decent, so I went out to my Dad's to have lunch with Brianna. And left there around 12.
I put together my stuff for my pictures, and the jewelry, and I had to round up all of my shoes... I only ended up bringing about 25 out of however many pairs I had, but they were only for a prop, so oh well.
We left here around 4:40ish, and it didn't even take an hour to get there.
Got there, and the guy showed me to my dressing room, which said "Welcome Cassidy" on the door, and was a very nice room, complete with couch, chairs, computer, and vanity mirror, and water bottles. He told me to change into the outfit for my school portrait, and then crack open the door, so my make-up artist could come in.
My make up ended up looking fantastic.
Then my photographer came in, and asked to see my outfits, and she wrote them down. THEN I walked into the warehouse, where all the backdrops and such were. The first room we went into, had 3 real working waterfalls, and she told me to pick what I wanted, out of what she showed me, and she put things with different outfits.
I was originally only supposed to have 1 hour, and 45 poses, but I had more than 45 poses, and I was there for almost 2 hours. Because she liked taking my picture, haha.
Afterwards, she told me she would send the pictures to the computer in my dressing room, and my mother saw them play on a slideshow, and the pictures came out awesome.
I can go out there to get my proofs in 5 days, and I'll get a book that has them in there, and then I have to make an appointment to pick which ones we're getting. But, they're sending the one for the yearbook directly to the school (when we pick which one we want), so I don't have to worry about that.
But it was a lot of fun, and my backdrops were amazing.
I'm supposed to get a code for my session, so I'll be able to post the link for that when I get my proofs, or I can just scan most of them. Not all of them though, there's a lot.
