Warped Tour 2006!
Alright, here's my Warped Tour post, because this year's Warped, was pretty fantastic.
I left here at 8:45, and headed out to Darien Lake. Sat at the one light for about 15/20 minutes, then they started letting our cars in, so we go foreward, and thennnn we sit in the drive for about 40 minutes, because they hadn't opened the parking yet. They let is in for parking, and my car's the last car in the first row they were parking in, so I was like yesssss.
Then, we get to hang outside the gates for about an hour. Which was fun, talked to some pretty interesting people, met some people in some local "trying to make it" bands, and got a free t-shirt from a band I've heard before off of MySpace.
Then we get let in!
Right away, tonsss of free stuff right off the bat, it's like 'holy crap!' haha.
Go to the Winterfresh booth, and get this blue wristband... I got to sit on a HUGE inflatable couch, beause that wristband was cool like that.

The Academy Is
I nearly died. I am like, infatuated with William, seriously. Right in the middle of the crowd, next to wear people were "moshing" (god knows why they were doing that), anyways, it was an amazing show. Awesome way to start out warped, that was for sure.
Walked around some more, saw some random bands, got an autographed poster from Armor for Sleep.
Was going to get Against Me!'s autograph, but that line was WAY too long, AND Motion City Soundtrack's line was too long too, sadly.
I saw some of Against Me, and some other bands at the Volcom stage, because that's where we sat to escape the sun for a little bit, since it was soooo freaking hot.
Anyways,
Gym Class Heroes
Holy Freaking Crap. I was right up front. Right against the front gate, and that show, was seriously awesome. I missed Motion City Soundtrack perform, because they were going on Stage Left while Gym Class was setting up, so in order to get the spot I wanted, I had to get there then. I moved in RIGHT AFTER The Casualties had gone on, and that was soooo not a pretty state. I saw some bloody people.
Anyways! During the song "7 Weeks" out prances William!!! He sings the chorus for that song, so it was only fit, and I got a tonnnn of great pictures, because I could. AND THEN, during the last song, 'Cupid's Chokehold', Travis came down to the front of the gate, to sing, and held my hand for a part of the song, sooo, naturally, I was insane, haha. But, since there was the lead singer, right there, that close, there naturally was a MAD RUSH to try to touch him. So, my knee went bam into the gate. Since I had problems with it before, it's just not kinda bruised in the front, it's majorly bruised in the back. Oh well, I don't care, it was nice.
I left a little bit after that, I picked my stuff up at the "locker box" because that's where I left it. I didn't want to hold it, because I was planning on being in front for that show.
Anyways, I bought 3 shirts, one from the 'Breast Cancer Awareness' booth- (awesomest shirt ever), The Academy is shirt, and a Gym Class Heroes shirt.
And I got 2 or 3 shirts for free.
And 8 free CDs,
And ect, ect.
Well, the power just flickered, so I better end this before it goes.
And I took a disposible camera, so my digi wouldn't die, so I'll scan the pictures when I get them.
