Well a little update on the life and times of Kris for all those bored, silly, despereate, or interested enough to read . . .

Zombies still have not arisen from their earthen graves to ensure entertainment for me. This is very dissapointing news, folks.

In all seriousness (yeah, in all seriousness where are them zombies?!?!), I've been doing a routine it seems like which is okay, but not great. lol I did head back to Vancouver recently to spend some time with Nick, Wes, John, Andrew and others as well. Highlights were John's birthday party and getting drunk as a skunk, Big Al's and video games at a real life arcade (been a long time), sushi, and just general fun times. I went up to Longview the lat day, which was my mom's birthday. It was nice to be able to spend some time (although not nearly enough) with my parents.

In short I have a long term plan in place to move back to the Vancouver area. Nothing would happen for at least another six months, but I do have money set aside toward moving now (thank you IRS for not fucking me big time!).

Since that trip I've been playing a lot of Xbox and Wii. Autumn and I are spending as much time together as we can. Or schedules were never perfectly in sync, and then she went on her over night inventory schedule. So that was pretty much harsh. lol I mean, we got through it, but it was tough to never see each other.

Last night I went and watched Ghost Rider at Regal with Damon and Autumn. Funny moment occured when Luke, the GM, walked by, regonized me, and said, "Hey look who it is, what's up man?" I barely turned and said "Not much" and went right on with my sentence with Damon. Autumn said he just sort of did a double take and kept trying to walk and looked like he felt like a retard. Which is awesome, because the guy is. What a fucking fake douche bag. You don't come up to someone like that, that you've had that kind of history with, and try to act buddy buddy. Fucking loser. But Autumn and I laughed our asses off afterward. Anyway, it was nice to blow him off.

Ghost Rider was about what I expected Ghost Rider to be. I turned my brain off and just sort of let it happen for two hours and it somewhat entertained me. Sam Eliot is just cool, though.

After that we picked up Chad and all came back to my place for Wii-play action! Seriously! Bowling and Wii Play and all sorts of fun. I love that little white machine. I'm up to three Wiimotes now and I picked up Warioware for CHEAP. hehe I love getting a discount.

Currents:

TV Show: Autumn and I are watching Firefly

Comic Book: Astonishing X-Men (holy shit, Joss Whedon party)

Book: American Gods by Neil Gaiman

Game: Wii Play (also playing Battlestar Galactica, Call of Duty 3 and Zelda atm)

Things coming up?

Thinking about getting a new bed with Uncle Sam's help. not sure yet though. beyong that I'm saving money and probably going to get a wireless network set up at the apartment.

I'm excited about the news of the 360's price drop sometime within the next year, too. I've like for a fund going to purchase some AV stuff. It will be a long time before it matures, but it's cool. 360, big HD TV, and a surround system are on the list. I just need to be able to save up more bucks.

Well I'm out homies.
