Happy 4th of July! Do they have a 4th of July in other countries? (Answer is at the bottom of the post, since I found out whiting it out doesn't necessarily work.)
Computer stuff continues to drive me crazy. I'm unable to find my Dreamweaver and Photoshop disks. Not only are these programs mega-bucks on their own, I have the souped version of each. (Dreamweaver is part of a suite that includes Flash, Fireworks, and a couple other programs. Photoshop is the extended version.) I can live without Photoshop for now, since Paint Shop Pro is quite nice. But I really need to fix up some websites and I need an HTML editor to do that. So I decided I'd just go ahead and copy Dreamweaver off my old computer and transfer it here. But I can't. It's acting as though it's a new installation. I did download SeaMonkey today, which is basically the old Netscape suite that includes Composer. So far it's not so good.
So I've done a different kind of Google search for an "open source" package. I know they're out there because one of them caused some problems for us at work. I've hit a sites that look promising, including the program that caused the work problems.
In other computer-related news, I've installed a couple more Firefox add-ons. And I have my eye on a couple more. (I thought I ought to get used to the add-ons I have before I load more on.)
And, I've finished my "weeks down, weeks to go" icons. Both sets. :) Now I guess I'll have to find something else to waste my time on. *L* And, as you can see, I have been mucking around with headers. *eh*
And the answer is: Ye! And they have a 5th & 6th & so on.s
the new computer,
