how to get out of the house

I've been wondering how I'll be able to get out of the house. It seems that everything is setup here and that to leave the house involves an inordinate amount of planning and packing. That to go anywhere you'll have to take copious amounts of nappies, clothes and other child paraphernalia that it's just hard so much easier to stay home.
why does one small human need so much stuff ? It's not like he's walking around and getting dirty, it's more that he has no concept of toilets and controlling bowel movements. So as it stands you are constantly checking that the poo or urine has not soiled their clothes and the unending cycle of laundry to make sure that everything's clean is relentless.

So, I'm also loosing my identity. I'm no longer my profession as I stay at home, I'm no longer my position in my organisation as I'm on leave. I'm not referred to as someone's mum and conversations resolve around motherhood. Just because I've had a child does not mean that my brain has turned every conversation into child related topics, I do want to talk about other things as well you know!

Also, I haven't been keeping up with current affairs, so I probably don't have that much to add? Who knows.
