I need to stop giving advice. When I listen to people, I tend to be a more active listener than I should be. I always end up advising and commenting. I don't think that's what a good listener should do. If the person to whom you're talking wants input, they will ask for it. Otherwise, just stay engaged. Don't hesitate to put me in place when I start advising though.
