Money! Art!
Oh my god does my drawing hand hate me. But it's worth it because I'm nearly done doing my art finals. I still have to mount my game box cover thing, but that shouldn't be too hard. I just finished my final for Illustration and posted it to deviantArt, so I'm spamming y'all here about it.
We had to design money, which I thought was awesome since I love looking at pretty money. Since I've been going through a bit of portrait withdrawal I really wanted a portrait on one side, then I decided to torture myself (again) and do a landscape on the back. As if that wasn't enough, I decided to do uber decorative borders and a pattern behind the portrait. It's probably a bad sign when your classmates (even the ones known for insane details) are giving you sympathetic looks. Anyway. I've survived, I probably should have used a compass for bits but at this point I don't care. I think it's pretty, which is what I wanted.

I did it for Serbia, the portrait is of Ana Ivanovic, one of the seemingly billions of top tennis players that everyone was talking about recently, and the landscape is the view around the Monument Of The Winner in Belgrade. Oh, and the saying is "Svuda Podji, Svome Domo Dodji" which literally means "travel everywhere, return to your home".
As I'm about to post, I'm mildly amused at how the lineart has one view while the colored one already has a couple comments.
