I've always wanted to design a costume for one of these. Not the sort that involves completely obscuring the actor beneath a mascot outfit; the sort that uses the fabric's pattern and colour to its advantage, to suggest that the human (or human-looking person) on the stage really is the animal... in such a way that you can believe it. Of course, much of that depends on the actor's talents as well, but it would still be a fun thing to try out.
