[[It's that time again! Same deal as last time, only now there are drastically less fish in the tank... she still needs to replace the ones that didn't survive her negligence during Children's Week

Oh right, a light bulb needed changed. Still, Flint was hoping that Blacky might have stepped out as he fumbled for the master key for the offices. Hopefully, this wouldn't take long.
Oh. So much for that. Flint sheepishly put his keyring away and entered slowly, tipping his hat in a greeting.
"Uh, just here to change the light." He explained, making a vague gesture to the light fixture on the ceiling. He was glad that all he needed to do was put the new glass thing where the old glass thing went, since that didn't take much time to do even for him.
"Ah, right. Thank you. I nearly forgot about that with the sun coming through the window, aha..." The already weak laugh trailed off and died pretty quickly.

Flint silently went to work unscrewing the old light bulb. He didn't even see why he had to, since like Blacky said, it was plenty bright in there. But, it was on the to-do list, so there he was.
"Uh... yeah." He said. "They're healthy. Don't look much like Boney, though."

"I don't look a thing like my parents, either as far as I know." Largely due to the fact that DNA backtracking had revealed that neither had evolved at the time of her conception. "But their coats are likely to change a bit as they grow older. Ah! But isn't it exciting? I've been wondering how it might be to raise children, and this is close enough, hm?"
"It's not being able to raise him that's the problem." She frowned and glanced out the window... and realized her mistake. "--Or her. If I were to have one. My lifestyle probably doesn't suit childrearing. My lifespan probably isn't enough."
