Pit entered the room, slowly at first, but that was because he had to take a moment to marvel the room. Then, he approached Blacky at her desk.

"Hi, Miss Blacky," he greeted. "I was interested in taking your class, but I never really joined in the beginning of the year... sorry about that." He grinned sheepishly.

And Blacky's first thought was "please don't hit me with your wings :'("

She glanced up from the textbook she was pulling questions from, smiling warmly. "Well hello. No need to apologize... better late than never, right?" She winked and stood up, making her way to one of the shelves. "Let's see... Newest edition should be-- ah! Here we go." She grabbed the book and held it out to the angel.

"You'll only have to go through the first two units to catch up, but you'll still get by without doing it until finals."

Whoops there goes Blacky into the fishtank!

"Thanks!" He took the book with gratitude. "I'll try my best to catch up. I'm willing to bet psychology is interesting, anyway. After all, it teaches us how people think, right?"

And then she drowned the end.

"Or at least how we think we think." She flashed her trademark Grin. "I certainly do hope you find it interesting. I know I sure do."

Way to state the obvious, Blacky. Chances were, she wouldn't have taught it for so long if she didn't.

No response.

That was because Blacky had gone on a mission to get some sweet baked treats from the cafeteria (which hopefully wouldn't reverse her age this time). Fortunately for Daroach, she just so happened to be on her way back with a plate of cookies, and turned the corner mere moments after he'd knocked.

She stopped dead in her tracks, her first thought being to tell him off. She was still a little upset over the dispute in her journal, after all. But then she remembered that cryptic entry he'd made. Something was wrong, she knew that much... It would be a real dick move to turn him down at a time like this.

"...Daroach," she called at last, continuing on her way back to the office. "Good afternoon. Come on in... is everything all right?"

His ears twitched before he turned to face the person he wanted to see, giving her a small yet weary smile. He floated a few inches back to give Blacky some room to open the door before following her inside the office.

"No, nothing's alright." He said to the pokemon, not putting forth an effort to keep his inner walls up; he's too emotionally drained to put up a mask. "But I didn't come here to talk about me. I'm here cause...I owe you an apology."

Needless to say, this isn't his first apology to Blacky. Even though he didn't say it out front, he did admit his wrongdoings during the time he told her off in a journal entry concerning Flint and her lack of self-worth. It wasn't a good idea at the time to be so blunt with his words, especially if she was in a drunken state of mind. Fortunately, not to his knowledge, Raiden was there to keep her from doing anything she might regret later. He could very well be the reason why she's still alive today.

"...It's alright." She understood that the mouse had a bit of a temper (and that was putting it lightly!) and was disposed toward pushing people away, whether he realized it or not. Blacky knew what that was like. She also knew that he definitely didn't seem the type to apologize often, so she appreciated the blow to his pride this must have been.

"I should be the one apologizing. I said some things rather rashly which I'm sure only fueled your bad mood." While she was curious about just what had happened to Daroach, she couldn't really make him tell her. Just as stubborn and secretive as Raiden, hmph. At least she had more experience coaxing these things out of people now, however slight.

She sat on one end of her sofa, patting the spot next to her. "Do you need to sit?"

This was just getting weirder and weirder. Lash wasn't even completely sure why she wanted this lesson but figured it couldn't hurt. Then again, would anyone even bother looking?

Besides, the prospect of doing another invention was going to keep her interested. Considering her view of Blacky had been more positive lately, she actually knocked on the door instead of tearing it down.

Blacky, in the meantime, had been silently acting out a scene on her desk using tiny toy dinosaurs. Which scene? The world would never know. At the knock she hastily stuffed the toys into one of her drawers and flipped open a book, trying to look busy with something more productive.

"Come in."

Aww, she would have loved coming in to see, that's what she got for actually being nice.

Lash pushed the door in, before walking up to the teacher's desk and throwing herself in a nearby chair.

"Hey."

"Hello there, Lash." Blacky could easily guess what this was about. Even if she was wrong, she'd throw it out there anyway.

"Here for your first lesson?

"Daaahling!" Flurrie announced as she flourished her way into Blacky's office. She was carrying a small bag that made chinking sounds at it moved. "How are you? While I was getting ready for work this morning it occurred to me that we simply do not chat enough, so I've brought tea~!"

From the bag she produced a small teapot, cups and a few tea bags and began arranging them on Blacky's desk without waiting for a response. "Do fetch some hot water, will you~?"

"Good afternoon, Madame! What a pleasant surprise!" Blacky smiled and moved a few papers out of the way. She wasn't terribly fond of being told to go do something unless it was by her trainer, but she did enjoy tea and the teacher's lounge wasn't terribly far off. She excused herself to go get the water while Flurrie prepared and in a few short moments returned with a steaming kettle.

"It's wonderful to see you. Ho-oh was mentioning just the other day how the three of us ought to do something before summer's end." She handed the kettle to Flurrie and took a seat.

"Ah, that sounds like a lovely idea!" Flurrie said as she dipped a bag into the hot water. "Goodness, is summer really almost over? Time flies, doesn't it! Hmm, but what should we do? Should we see an outdoor show while the weather is still nice! Ooh, I know! We should do an art walk!"

"I believe he was thinking something along the lines of a bonfire, or perhaps coffee, but... an art walk..." This idea appealed to Blacky even more than the other two. "An art walk during the day, then coffee around a fire during the night, perhaps? Oh, we could have every artist in the school showcase their work!"

What was Flint doing here?

Oh right, a light bulb needed changed. Still, Flint was hoping that Blacky might have stepped out as he fumbled for the master key for the offices. Hopefully, this wouldn't take long.

Too bad for Flint. Blacky was in. She was very confused at first to hear the sound of keys, since she thought she had the only one.

"It's... open..."

Oh. So much for that. Flint sheepishly put his keyring away and entered slowly, tipping his hat in a greeting.

"Uh, just here to change the light." He explained, making a vague gesture to the light fixture on the ceiling. He was glad that all he needed to do was put the new glass thing where the old glass thing went, since that didn't take much time to do even for him.

Oh. Flint. Well.

"Ah, right. Thank you. I nearly forgot about that with the sun coming through the window, aha..." The already weak laugh trailed off and died pretty quickly.

...This was awkward.

But she could play it cool. Probably. Hopefully.

"...Have you been able to go see the puppies yet?"
