Writer's Block: Random Acts of Kindness

What is one of the nicest things you've ever done for another person?

Hey... I'm bored, why not answer one of these questions.

Well... the two things that first come to mind are 1) one of the warm fuzzies I wrote for one of my friends last year and 2) skipping out on Science (with the teacher's permission) to look after my best friend. (The only reason they're in that order is due to chronology... is that a word?)

So, Number 1)
Well... I remember at the end of Peer Helper training last year, we were asked to complete warm fuzzies (ie, where everyone writes a little message to everyone saying something good about them) and I wrote on one of my friend's (and the guy I like... so that might have explained why it was so nice... ^///^) "You are one of the nicest people I know and you always make me and everyone around me laugh!"... I mean, in retrospect that kind of was like a confession (oh crap... *doosh*) but when he read that, he asked who wrote in the black felt tip pen and I said "me" and the smile that came from him probably melted me... :D But I was so glad that made him really happy!

Number 2)
This wasn't too long ago... like a couple of weeks. Long story short, me and my best friend are having a bit of a hard time with certain people at school and once she just came running up to me right before science and she was crying. First thing I did (after comforting her) was ask Miss Lynch (my science teacher) if I could have the lesson off. When I was given permission, we went off into one of the other classrooms and I just looked after her for the entire lesson. Why is that particularly nice? I mean, you should do that for any of your friends, right? Well... um... for me, that's not really true. If my parents ever found out that I skipped out on class for a friend they'd be right pissed! "Oh! You should care more about your education, Amanda, less about your friends." What a load of bull! So yes, that's why it comes across as one of the nicest things I've ever done.

Wow.. it automatically tags as 'writer's block'
