I fell into the #oilslickhair tag on Instagram. Oops. And when following yet another link about it the other night, I learned that apparently this coloring is also called "duck feather hair". I haven't looked to see if that's widespread, because I want to think it is. It's pretty apt.
In the neverending list of funky things one can do with hair color, "Denim hair is the hot new trend for people who want their hair to look like things that aren't hair".
