A trailer, a movie seen and a movie to see, and kitty snuggles

--Ginny and I, in a shocking development, went to see a movie tonight in a semi-timely fashion--not Star Wars*, which we aim to see sometime next week, but Mockingjay Part 2. (Hey, I said semi-timely, and given Casual Job and all, I think we're doing well to have managed it while it was still in theatres at all...) She and Kas just saw Part 1 a few days ago, so that was far fresher in her mind than mine, and she said she liked the first half better. And I don't really have anything to say about it; it's been forever since I read the books, and the movie was...fine? This whole note is (obviously) more "yay, I saw a movie!" than "let me talk about the movie I saw!"
*The draw of Star Wars looks to be enough to lure
scruloose and Kas to the theatre, although they may turn up with literal earplugs to deal with the onslaught of the "pre-show" garbage.
On a tangential note, I get thrown nearly every time I see The Force Awakens as "TFA"...because apparently my brain unpacks that as The First Avenger. Which is a bit peculiar, since I don't know that I've ever actually referred to the first Cap movie that way. O_o
--Today Jinksy was epically snuggly--I think he came to cuddle on my lap four times while I was at my desk (including falling asleep once), and after I got out of the shower mid-morning he let me flop on the bed and use him as a pillow (!), and then when he fidgeted and I moved my head, he stayed snuggled up with me and nodded off. As I may or may not have already said here, I really hope this increased snuggliness lasts once he and Claudia get used to my routine being back to normal, but even if it doesn't, I'm enjoying the hell out of the unusual quantity of Jinksy!bear snuggles.
So far he and Claud are being fairly good about the now-ornamented Christmas tree--they've only used it as a toy dispenser three times that I know of (the first two times were the same ornament, even though after the first incident I hung it higher than it had been. Hmm).
--*vague handwaves* I don't know. I'm sure there was something else I was going to write about. Recent precedent suggests that it involved being a bit apologetic or sad about being behind on something-or-other. (Comments, emails, holiday prep, fic, sleep, posts about the subjects people have suggested...)
