...my (remarkably content-free) 1000th post. But what will you count down to now?
(I was briefly tempted to not post again for a couple of weeks so the thousandth post would be on the journal's fifth anniversary--and it's not like I don't go that long without posting sometimes--but that was too contrived. ^_-)
Random note for the sake of content: listening to this song (the recording, I mean) is a surreal experience. Our two guitarist friends have so thoroughly made it their own that I expect spontaneous improvs, bass-line solos, one guitar's body being used as a percussion instrument, and, if they've been messing around with it long enough, the occasional moment of silence from one guitar while its owner pauses for a sip of beer.
