Credits, Buffy comics, and music

Professional note: for anyone who reads Shinobi Life vol. 2, there's a credits mix-up in the first printing. (I don't know if/when it'll go back to print, but editorial is aware of the error, so I assume it'll be fixed if possible.) Despite what the book says, I did the adaptation, and I believe it was translated by Lori Riser, who translated vol.

Yes, that's one of the things that disappoints me about Western comics...

Album cover looks awesome! I have a lot of fave songs from ADP and I look forward to this new one muchly!

I'm going to look for Vol. 1 & 2 of Shinobi Life next week when I go to buy Furuba 22. Peacemaker Kurogane 1 was supposed to be out today, and I'll also look for that. Oh, and Volume 2 of Phantom Dream, and Volume 1 of Tsubasa. Did you work on Tsubasa? I've forgotten. Sometimes I think I should just order them all from Amazon, since the only bookstore in our area that carries manga is a Barnes & Noble, not any of the small independent ones where I like to shop to support local business. :(

(Esp. for Shinobi Life 1--I was actually trying to find a copy for my mom last week, and Amazon.com had it, but Amazon.ca and Indigo.ca both claimed it was currently unavailable. O_o) Phantom Dream 2 isn't out for another month or so, though, unless the date's changed.

I didn't work on Tsubasa, much as I would've liked to. Ah, well.

I'm probably going to wind up ordering more manga online due to Diamond's new distribution policies. :/ I prefer getting it from my local comic store, but the odds are good that some of the things I collect won't be available that way anymore.

Oh! And I wanted to let you know that I haven't forgotten about your fic. ^_^ I've been putting a lot of things off while I work on my current rewrite (it's a little insane, although easier than expected), but I just finished a draft of that...

On Shinobi Life: After liking the review copy of v1 so much, I have this series on order now with my local comics shop. :)

On Buffy: The inconsistency of these comics bugs me a lot. Unfortunately, the art in Angel, while possibly a bit better overall, also has the same problem.

The artwork issue is really unfortunate. :/ I'm enjoying the Buffy comics well enough, but I'd like them more if the art were better, or even if there were more consistency with how much the characters actually look like the actors. Some characters tend to, and others...I figure out from context.

OT, but I laughed this in your review of S.A vol. 9: "Hikari is apparently the second smartest student at this very elite school, and she is DIM."
