Dear brain: please to be engaging
It always takes a little while to get myself on track for a new book. Usually an evening or two. I hope that won't translate into a day or two when I'm spending full days at this instead of squeezing in what I can between supper and sleep. (But then, it's not entirely unsurprising that it's taking me a while, since this book* involves an entirely different format than I'm used to. Once I get used to it, things should move along more freely. Right? Right.)
*For a couple of different reasons, this book stays publicly nameless for a little while. But it's going to be eating up an impressive chunk of my December.
