Happy Halloween!
Happy Halloween everyone!
I love halloween. Last night was great. I carved a pumpkin (an owl sitting in front of the moon), burned my candycorn-scented candle, toasted pumpkin seeds for the potluck party at RSMAS tonight, and watched about 15 minutes of "Texas Chainsaw Massacre" (then got sick to my stomach watching people get tortured with cattle prods and yelled at Brian to go watch it upstairs).
All in all a very successful evening. Except I was scared to put my pumpkin outside, because I didn't want to risk it getting smashed. And it's raining and very windy today (damn hurricane), so probably the candle won't stay lit tonight anyhow.
Brought my costume to work so I have it for the party (I'm a jockey, complete with riding crop). No plans following that, but I'm sure Brian and I will figure something out. I do NOT want to go to the Grove again this year.
