Stupid diversion...
Every now and then, I just sit and search map areas on HAR and look at all the homes for sale in that area, which would be fine but I tend to look in the 500-800k areas at a minimum. Some people with lots of money have no taste, and the decor reflects that, but every now and then...
Had only a sip of that prosecco the other day and threw the rest out. I'd count that as a triumph, but here I am having my usual (Dark & Stormy) and will probably have another. It's only because I found a can of Gosling's I must have forgotten about, and with Gosling's dark seal rum and a lime, it's a damn fine drink. And half a can makes one drink. So I'm listening to Fred Astaire on Pandora, having a cocktail, and looking at houses I couldn't possibly afford right now. I'm happy with where we live, but wouldn't mind being closer in still. That said, if you dropped $2M in my lap right now, what would I do with it? Can't say for sure.
