Have got around to watching ‘Orthros no Inu’. Just thought it was an interesting synopsis. There was no one I wanted to watch it for, so I was all-neutral going in just for the drama. And I do like it so. Gotta watch the rest to find out the answers. What is Ryuzaki thinking, and what is he planning? I wonder (although it seems too cliche) - if the two are related? Mrs Aoi seems so jumpy.
Ryuzaki and his God’s Hand. It’s kinda funny how dramatic they make his hands actions. Everytime he stretches his hand out/closer to someone, seemingly wanting to work his ‘magic’, and making everyone standing around almost breathless in suspense, and then he stops. That scene where he stood by Mio-chan who was sitting on the swing. He stretched out his hand over her head … and it was perfectly right for Mio-chan to move away.. like who is this strange man wanting to touch my head…? Beside having God’s hand, Ryuzuki is also like a phantom - appearing out of nowhere to talk to someone and then whoosh, he’s gone. Aoi-sensei, haha, I liked how Ryuzaki calls …him that. Kinda like respectful but only just mockingly, ‘Aoi-sensei killed two people already, and why is he free to roam round?’ Also, as I didn’t pay attention much to who was in it, (I knew about Tackey and Ryo) it was actually surprising to see many familiar faces popping up in the drama - oh, it’s Soda from Maou, Yamada from Honey & Clover (she is looking really pretty here), the Robot maker from Zettai. Even even baldy reporter from Maou.
Oooh, Liar Game 2 has got a confirmed TV slot. Yah! I wonder if Shota will grow his hair back a little longer like last time. Although I haven't seen him recently, but the detective drama last season, his hair was short. I'll miss that image of Akiyama with longish hair. It suited the character well. How long does it take to grow hair...hmmm.
‘Assassins’ is now called ‘Accident’. Actually I think, the original name was ‘Accident’, as it was called that already when I first found the full synopsis at the Media Asia’s site way back in 2008. There has been so little filming news that over the past year, I kinda forgot about it. And so, it was simply was such a pleasant surprise to hear about a Venice and Toronto showcase and even a HK release. Ah, finally, a completed new movie. And, since I usually go to the TeaHouse to stay updated on Richie’s news, I didn’t realise I was missing out on a few magazine scans when I visited the China Forum. Oh, such nice ones too. And thank goodness, the perm hair is only for filming of the new movie 'Out Of Leash' - meaning, that Richie sports a better (his usual) haircut during his other activities...phew.
Ah, Red Cliff being shown in local cinemas. I am so tempted. It’s the big screen - it’s really not often that Asian movies make it to the western cinemas. Last time I watched HOFD - big screen is certainty spectacular indeed. BUT I just cannot do it. I just can’t go and see it. Frankly, I cannot stand how the original 4 hours movie is trimmed down to a 2 hour version for the western audience. How can you cut off more than 1 hour of footage. That will make me feel awful afterwards, because I will be missing all the missing parts. Hmmph!
Well, sometime ago, I had a renewed motivation in writing some more of my story fic which I have abandoned for so long. All the thoughts of the unwritten parts flowed back as I re-read what I had completed so far. It’s almost like a re-visiting a old drama - but one that you never really finish watching. And the ending that I had planned seems displaced, blurry and unfinal. The problem had been - writer’s block in a way that the thoughts and ideas were there, but I found it hard to spend the time to sit and write it out - form the sentences, close the dialogue, and fill in the itsy bitsy stuff in between to get to the main part. But, I do miss that sort of creative writing. Must make a goal to try finish another chapter…
Where is spare time when you need it... yeah, but I rather go shopping then ...wheee
