Texas Update: Day 1
Well, today wasn't too bad. Kinda fun actually.
They woke me up kinda early, specially considering I couldn't sleep last night, but really.. what's new? Anyway, got out of bed around 930ish and just kinda lazed around. Finally showering and getting ready, we went to the Olive Garden for lunch. We all had the soup/salad/breadsticks for like 5.99, yum.. Tried a new soup. Yum.
Then we went and shot pool and played some foosball at this place called Fat Alberts. It was fun, I got a few pictures. I'll post them when I get home .. wait no I won't.. Chad took his wireless router.
Anyway.. after we played pool and foosball for an hour or so, we went and rummaged around the mall for an hour or so. OMG, Patti was telling me this mall was pretty sucky, but they had the greatest GREATEST store. It was called Earthbound Trading or something along those lines. I wrote it down, but I don't feel like getting up and going to my purse. Anyway, they had the COOLEST things in there. I wasn't planning on spending any money while I was down here, but I'm definetly putting 30ish on my credit card there. They have all kinds of asian decorations and lamps and just really cool statues. Wow, AWESOME! Anyone heard of it?
So after that, we went to this placed called The Plex. It is an arcade/mini golf course/bumper boats/go carts place. SO COOL! First we did go carts. It was so much fun. I was kind of chicken with them at first, but then I tried. My cart was floored but Josh still managed to lap me and Patti like 2 times. So much fun. Then we played 18 holes of mini golf. That was awesome! It was so nice outside, it was just incredible! After that we went inside and played some lasar tag. Patti and I had NOOOOO idea what the hell to do, but Josh was kicking our ass! We worked up the biggest sweat, but I guess it was really hot in there too, so I'm sure that had something to do with it :p Last, we went on the bumper boats. There was a whole group of people that were in there besides us 3. I played bumper with all of them, but the end I was soooo soaked. It was just fun.
Then we went to McDonald's, came home and ate. Lounged around and watched some TV. Then we were supposed to go to Walmart, but I kind of dozed off for a whole 10 minutes and I think Patti got a little bit mad that Josh and I weren't motivated enough to really go. I felt bad, but seriously.. it was a long ass day! Then we just lounged a round a bit more watching TV.
Chad called, so I called him back since I'm not using my phone. It was brief. Yeah, it kind of upset me, but I'm planning on writing a separate entry, and I know no one wants to read it, so don't worry.. I'll lock it.
Anyway, it's really hot in here. I have another journal entry to write. And I'm out of things to say :)
