Funny thing I learned today

I was chatting with this guy I met in a message board. He works for some firm that creates/designs/makes weekend ads for major retail stores (in other words, in graphic design biznass). I think what this guy says deserves some explanation before you accept it. Seems to me that you're both working on material that's used for ads and publicity. So aside from the fact that he gets paid for what he does, what's the real difference? Maybe he's just bitter because he wanted to work on wrestling stuff a long time ago ;-)

Agreed. Besides, it's not like you HAVE to put the wrestling work on your resume, right?

Long before IWR, BCW, Marquee, you were doing wrestling related projects. Apparently it's something you enjoy. If he thinks you're wasting your time, that's his opinion, let him have it.

Do what you enjoy, it's not all about conforming and making money.
