Hello little hellions. I had one heck of an awesome Rodeo Break, let me tell you. Thursday my mom and I went shopping in Phoenix and I found my prom dress. It's exactly what I wanted- pink with a halter neck. I love it. I smiled the second I saw it and I just knew it had to be mine. I also got new pants from Tall Girl, which makes me happy. The need to be hemmed because they have a 38.5 inch inseam, and I only need a 36 inch inseam, but what can you do??
That night Katy slept over and we went hiking on Friday! Whoo!! Good times in the hood, let me tell you. We got so wet because the water was flowing like mad in the river thing, but it was so much fun. Ha. What a day. Then on Saturday, I went to the library to read Cosmo and Redbook and that night, Lauren, Phil, Daniel, and I all hung out. We watched How to Lose a Guy in 10 Days and then Steve came over and we all went to Hooters at like 11:00. It was kind of fun, I'll admit, but our waitress wasn't very attractive, according to the guys, and that was disappointing. I almost hit a bunny on the way home. Whoops.
Yesterday I hung out with Andrew and then the Grandmas came over for dinner. Whoo... Today was fairly uneventful. English SUCKED. Math was ok, and then psych was boring. TA was boring, forensics was actually enjoyable, and I enjoyed Spanish, too. After school, my mom apparently got in a car accident. She's fine, my grandma, who was in the car with her, is fine, the other driver is fine... But he doesn't have insurance and he's the one that hit my mom. Way to be, jackass!!! Her poor car... My heart sank when I saw it. She got hit on the side and the German machine that it is took it pretty well, but, since it's so old, the damage might be more than the car is actually worth. That'll suck. Oy. What a day. I also had to do 8 poetry drills tonight. Caca...
I'm sleeping in a little tomorrow and hopefully going to the Y for the first time in like a week. Stupid golf tournament people were parking there, so I didn't feel like risking my life and going there during the weekend. Love to all!
