now. god created the universe and laid down the dimensions- how hard is it for him to take care of you? why do you trust in your own understanding and in your own self, still- when you claim belief in a god who created the universe! a god who formed you in the womb, and knew you before time- how can you say that YOU know better than god what is best for every individual person?
it might be that god knows what it takes for a persons faith to grow- and for that person it might be the street. for another person it might be managing a resturant, volunteering work, seeing miracles within that worldly job. for another person god will keep him jobless for as long as it takes until he learns to depend on god, and trust in god for all things.
is anything too hard for god, who created all that we know? no!
can we safely say that god knows more than we do? yes! i hope you can, there is evidence in creation, in our own existence!
but listen, you have to come to understand that god is a gentleman. he will not force himself on you. you have free will, make that choice to believe. because god can call you, god can give you miracles, but you will always have the choice to deny him still, and believe in the lie:
"they perish because they refused to love the truth and so be saved. for this reason god sends them a powerful delusion so that they will believe the lie and so that all will be condemned who have not believed the truth but have delighted in wickedness." -2thessalonians 2:11. do you see? they believe in themselves over god, they trust in themselves, in earthly things, over god! but listen, who is more capable of taking care of you? if you claim to believe in a god who created the universe, and in jesus who died for you- who is more capable of taking care of you? yourself and your job and your paychecks- or GOD WHO CREATED YOU AND KNOWS YOU, he sees into your heart and knows you better than you know yourself! he knows the number of strands of hair on your head. he knows what you need before you know- who truly is more capable of taking care of you?
repeat: trusting in ourselves over god is directly claiming that we are more trustworthy than god, and this is deception and delusion and the ultimate lie. cause the truth is that we can not take care of ourselves, we can not save ourselves, we are only human! god is truth and can only tolerate truth- when you deny his perfect and absolute judgment and trust in your own judgment you are living in the delusion that you know better than god, that your judgment is more trustworthy than gods! if you say that you believe in god, consider carefully what it is you actually believe in!
