So I've been listening to Sunset Boulevard this weekend, and I never ever do, and guess what is on Turner Classics tonight? A silent movie starring Gloria Swanson.

And speaking of silents (er, no lame joke intended) I watched the Passion of Joan of Arc last weekend. Silents are already kind of spooky, but get some lady who has the biggest, craziest eyes ever, it kinda doubles in the creepy. Still, I couldn't look away. And then I got creeped out and had weird dreams which I deserved because I knew that's what was going to happen. ANYWAY. The soundtrack was lovely though. It was composed especially for the film. (I should make it clear, composed for the film many years after it came out.)

And then after Harry Potter 7 came out, I was starting to feel like stone cold hearted robot because I was seeing, "I sobbed!" everywhere because I did not mist up one bit. Don't get me wrong I loved the book. But there was no crying. I decided I had cried myself out earlier in the week watching All Quiet on the Western Front. I was fine the entire movie, but the end ripped my guts out. I just sat there sobbing. So you know. If you wanna be really depressed, rent it!
