I also wonder if it may be the Rebman equivalent of someone meeting an accidental death by falling out of bed onto their own knives several dozen times.
I have noticed this trend going on - so many held their mothers in high regard. Rarely their father, almost always mother. But trend can also be found else where, but most often in Rebma.
Moral of this observation : never give birth in Rebma.
I must start reading these diary entries more carefully. :)

It all depends on whether the mothers are the sort to eat their young alive.

But it's rather pleasant to imagine mother stepping and falling on maybe a little three-footer. It'd take it a while to eat her.
