Does anyone know where I can get hold of some decent plastic pants/ wraps to go over terry nappies?
We've managed fine for 6 months, but now Boots now only stock plastic over pants that have cotton edges, clearly they haven't considered the fact that as soon as they come into contact with pee (or poo) they soak it all up and then go on to soak his clothes and sheets- which defeats the object of wearing a nappy surely?!?
Mothercare ones rustle like a crisp packet and tear after a few uses.
Student loans and minimum wages won't stretch to buying any other reusable nappies or disposables.
Our parents said that when we were kids they had sheets of plastic that folded up like the terry towel and were held in place with plastic clips, we've seen the clips but not the plastic sheets.
So...anybody any suggestions?
