Just a quick question, yesterday we noticed that Bee's eye was weeping, it seemed to clear up and was fine all of last night and this morning, however when I was out and about it started to weep again. It just looks like really thick eye-bogies (sorry TMI) but I'm wondering if I should be worried. It doesn't appear to be bothering her, she certainly isn't rubbing/itching it any more than normal. However, it looks rather sore - puss always makes me think the worst. I'll probably take her to baby-clinic in the morning but the health visitors are often less than useful. Anyone have any advice? She is breast fed and I have heard things about putting breast milk into babies eyes, but how on earth does one achieve that?? And really, is that wise? I've no idea how I'd even go about that one...
My mum mentioned something about an 'eye cold', I thought she was making it up but apparently it is possible. Perhaps I should look it up on NHS direct, but they never really relate things to babies.
Ok waffle over, thanks for any advice/info :)
