In other news ...
The new roof for my car came through from the States! When I ordered it, they told me it would be 3 or 4 weeks, and it actually took about a week, which is excellent! The weather is fantastic here, so it's a perfect time to fit it ... so I started yesterday ... and a job that should've taken about an hour took the whole day, and is still only half done! it's going to look awesome, tho ... see here for details of what it entails, and how it looks when it's done :-)
I watched "Spread" on blu-ray last night. It's ok - a sort of Californication without the humour ... but ultimately depressing.
The other films I rented yesterday are "A perfect getaway", "The ugly truth" and "Nine" ... but not sure I'm going to be able to watch them all before they have to go back on Wednesday.
No progress with the chk.files, but I'm planning to set the old computer up to copy all the files across to the new drive overnight, I think, then I can sift through them on my laptop at my leisure!
Oh, and I finally cut the grass on my back lawn. i won't say it needed doing, but the wheelie bin was empty before, and it's virtually full now! The flower beds are looking more like grass beds, and there's an impressive display of weeds, but one thing at a time!
Oh, and they reckon today is likely to be the hottest day of the year in the UK ... and I can believe it. It's sweltering!!!!
