Here on friends of friends re-reading your con reports, hope you don't mind. Have you got anything with Anti- histamine in the house? Hay fever tablets that sort of thing, they'll help, the other thing that may help is baking soda put on the stings

and ouch!

This will sound crazy, but I've heard that meat tenderizer will dull the pain (mix it with a bit of water to form a paste, then slather it over the swollen bits).

Of course, I haven't tried this myself....

Have fun making those little bastards pay! lol

I have also used (besides the baking soda and meat tenderizer) a slice of onion placed on the sting area...there is something in the onion that neutralizes the poison in the sting...also, UB, make sure that you remove the stinger--as long as it's in your skin, it continues to pump toxins into the skin itself, worsening the bite...

Hope you're feeling better soon!

Toothpaste on stings is, for some reason, remarkably effective. *pats sympathetically*

Benadryl is the best anti-histamine I've found for removing itch. If there's pain/burning, Tylenol or ibuprofin should work. A meat tenderizer and water solution or baking soda/water solution (20 minutes directly on sting area) are supposed to work. An ice cube might help, too.

I hope the pain/itch/swelling go away soon!
