I did one more "Try to Copy Me"-inspired eye look.
I loved this look on CL. The pale pink looked amazing, not to mention the crystals were amazing (they remind me of
this picture of GD). This is a perfect example of something that will not possibly work in real life (it's editorial), but can very easily be altered to work for a day or night look. I went more towards a night-look.
This is a multi-step process. First I lined the inside lids of my eyes (top and bottom) with black eyeliner. Next, I applied a dark metallic grey eyeshadow as liner on my bottom lash line (btw, it photographer a lot lighter than it is. The color I used was nearly black), drawing it out at the end a bit so that it was slightly winged (the liner is also thicker at the edge of my eye). I smudged and feathered the grey liner a bit with a pointed q-tip (they're specially made for makeup), and an eyeliner brush. Next I applied a baby pink eyeshadow all over my lid, up into my brow bone, and towards the side of my nose. Lastly I added sparkly false eyelashes (these are obviously a lot tamer than what CL was wearing). If you don't have falsies, you can use a glitter mascara. To make this look work for the day, use the pink only on the lid, and use a lighter color or a thinner line on the lower lash line. (Used: Stila eyeliner, Maybelline eyeshadow, Sugar eyeshadow, Sugar false eyelashes)
I also did another look, just for the hell of it. This is my favorite eyeshadow :D
(See how red the skin around my eyes is? Wtf skin?!)
I kept the black liner on the top and bottom inside lashes, and just put a sparkly brown eyeshadow on the lid, and bottom lash line. And then just some black mascara on the top and bottom lashes! Easy! This eyeshadow is
NARS Galapagos, which is amazing. I added a bit of
Urban Decay Midnight Cowboy Rides Again, which is pure glitter. And some Stila mascara!
Second, I got my GD Shine a Light photobook today! The book is huge! Like, a lot thicker than the "Bye 2009, Hello 2010" photobook. The pictures are gorgeous, but I wish it was in English (I know that's a stupid wish, but usually in BB photobooks they have the text in English, for some reason). The GD poster is beautiful, and the small BB poster I ordered in similarly gorgeous.
(My pictures are kinda sucky... I blame lighting, as always)
This photobook is designed like the 2010 Diary and the "Bye 2009, Hello 2010" photobook, with a soft foam cover. It's bright yellow, and super pretty! I should have taken comparison pictures! *does that now*
Okay, so the red one on the left is the 2010 Diary. The orange one in the middle of the "Bye 2009, Hello 2010" photobook. The yellow one on the right is the GD photobook. As you can see, the GD photobook is much bigger than the other two. It also came with a plastic cover, which is why it looks shiny. (Guess what I'm propping them up with? The Big Show DVD)
Pictures! And my thumb...
I love this shirt, too bad they don't sell it anymore. Also too bad it's Galliano, and super expensive.
I have a thing with GD's hands...I love that he can be so androgynous, but his hands are so manly. I like that. A lot.
The poster that came with the book. This is the same poster design they actually used for the concert. The stadium windows were lined with them. I wanted very badly to steal one, but they were constantly surrounded by YG people... Either way, I love it! (I'm holding it down with BB's Japan releases)
The other poster I ordered because it was cheap, and I love GD's hair like that. It's all cute and small!
