Summary: Melanie and Chad discovered, independently, that they are attracted to each other. Then came the day when they were kidnapped by thugs and they, figuring they were going to be killed, confessed their feelings for each other. Alas, they survived and they try to get on with life as it was...without each other. The problem is that Chad is going out with Melanie's best friend. Enter Maggie, who presses Melanie to talk about her feelings for Chad and proceeds to give her advice, based on her own experiences with figuring out her relationship with Victor. In the end, Melanie struggles but finally gives in and Maggie discovers she needs to follow her own advice.
I thought making this one was going to be easy. That was 4 months ago. When I started out I was thinking I'd just be bouncing back and forth between the two couples. The trouble I got into was that this needed to include the "conversation" between the two ladies. Good thing I love a challenge!
I edited the song 4 different ways before I was finally happy, but even then I didn't really like how I cut the ending. So I set it aside for a while and when I came back to it I actually did like it.
Getting going on the video, I put the first 30 seconds or so together and then got completely stuck. I finally had to put it aside. Every few days I'd go back to it and figure out a little something and then get stuck again. Finally, last week, it started clicking and in 2 days I had a finished final draft. Half a dozen tweaks over as many days later I finally let myself let this one go.
