So in light of recent events in Washington, D.C., my aggrivation with the left in this country has grown immensely. Sunday, about 800,000 (est.) protesters plagued the streets of our nation's capital, rallying for the support of murder in the United States. Under the guise of "women's rights" and the "right to choose," almost a million (keep in mind, that's almost 1/286th of our population, staggering numbers I might say) bereaved citizens attended the largest protest in support of violating human rights in US history. To read the details on this story, complete with fully incriminating and humiliating remarks from the left, proving to America and the world that not only are leftists completely uneducated and ignorant (generalization, but true in a large majority of cases), but their "compassion," with which they repeatedly bludgeon rightists, doesn't even extend so far as to sympathize with the lives of BABIES, read this article posted on msnbc:
http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/4825980/ The Right to Choose: Inherent in the United States' democratic ideologies, born out of the enlightenment and perfected by intellectuals of the day, though perverted and radicalized by the likes of John Stuart Mill, is the right to choose. It is a right we as Americans have been brought up believing is inherent and the natural, unalienable right of mankind as a whole. Now, given that premise, this right to choose inevitably will contradict itself in that the right of one individual to choose will undoubtedly infringe upon another's right to choose at some point. Even Mill, the father of radical liberalism, took this paradox into account and the freedom he proposed was to be extended only so far as it never infringed upon the rights of another. In modern America, women, through the feminist (Nazi) impostitions of female superiority and dominance, believe it is their right to "choose" whether or not they want to have a baby. I agree wholeheartedly. Women have the choice to NOT have sex, to NOT take the risk of becoming pregnant. They have the choice to use contraceptive methods to prevent pregnancy. They DO NOT have the choice to take the life of a baby which they conceived through poor planning or irresponsiblity. That is simply murder.
What makes this whole situation worse is the notion that the father of these babies being murdered (by the hundreds of thousands to millions annually) have no choice in the matter. Not only is that baby part of him, it is as much a part of them as it is a part of the mother. Regardless, the choice is given to mothers. As an American woman, each of my female readers should find it either entirely shocking and appalling or entirely thrilling and empowering that they have been given the choice to murder. You have been given an override to the Preamble of the US Constitution itself, which guarantees the right to life.
I suppose it's easy to believe all of this propaganda when it is taken into consideration the language they use in supporting abortions. "Women's rights," "freedom to choose," these are all democratic, liberal ideas and the same principals on which this country was founded. But let's be realistic, we are being fooled, deceived, lied to. Notice in the article that many who have had abortions DO NOT support them, while the majority of the 800,000 have most likely never had them.
I seem to remember a situation wholly similar to this one in which the Pharoah of ancient egypt mandated that all Hebrew baby boys be drowned in a river (a rather humane killing compared the abortion procedures used in modern America) and again in the first century AD when King Herod ordered the same execution of all Hebrew babies. Out of both of these mass murders rose two of the most influential characters in human history (including Jesus Christ). Imagine the loss of human life that abortions are having on the population of the United States. What next great person could rise out of US culture, but is never given the opportunity because he is killed before he is even allowed to breathe air?
As Americans and supporters of life and free choice, you should be as appaled as I am.
End.
