(no subject)
i've been in a really good mood lately. i dunno, i'm just really happy.
i'm gonna just go ahead and say it: i like school. i can tell this year is going to be really hard, but i think it'll be lots of fun. i've already got it good with my teachers. doc complimented me twice in directing, which is big for me, because c'mon guys, you know i never get anything good in the theatre department. i made some nice comments about what was needed for researching the musical, and she goes "oh brani! i knew there was a reason i put you in this class! folks, brani came up to me last year and said 'doc! you didn't put me in directing!' and now i know why i did. she sits up there all quiet, but when she finally says something, it's good. smart girl, smart girl." ha! is somebody finally realizing that i've got an interest in theatre? higgins was also pretty nice when i talked to him the other day. he didn't just brush me aside, which felt good.
i skipped on the hurricane party due to chelsea's momma, but it's okay, i still had so much fun. i could spend days with that girl and not get sick of her. we watched a bunch of movies and drank and complained about how it wasn't windy and we couldn't go outside and dance in the wind. it was very fun and a great way to spend my hurricane-that-didn't-do-shit-to-us-night.
i hope this week is good.
and, NO! I AM NOT DOING THE MUSIC! amanda plummer is (and she's doing a darn good job) so stop giving me song requests, especially lame ones.
also, i heard the postal service on 93.3 today...
