I did it!
I was offered a position in Austin on monday and I promptly accepted. I move on the 16th and start on the 18th with a local law firm. It feels like I can't get there soon enough. I am already packing even though I have not found a place yet. I will be going up sunday thru tuesday to find a place. Hopefully I can be as centrally located as possible, and manage a short drive to work which is half way to lake Travis. The drive to work is beautiful over the hills and past the water to a house in the hills is where I will toil away from 8-5 M-F. I will probably take up a second job of bartending on weekends to pay down my student loans, so I can free up my money so I can make the next big grown up step and buy a home. It will be fun....I cannot wait for this next chapter.....all the hills and swimming holes I can dream of.
