calgon take me away!
we got back from maryland last week. it was nice to have a few days rest and have no agenda for a change. i'm finding it hard to get back into the groove at work. having a weekend will spoil you like that.
i've come to realize that having resources and additional help on my projects has been a mixed bag: it's nice to be able to offload and delegate tasks, but then i end up spending lots of time managing and directing those resources which eats into a good portion of my day. especially having to go back and re-work items so that they are designed, assembled, or machined correctly. the gap in understanding between doing things to get them done and doing things right (the first time) is ever widening. success is in the details...
work gives me insomnia.
