yesterday:
we ate clover leaves underneath a large shade tree
in the middle of the afternoon.

today:
a very friendly, very elderly, very cute, tiny chinese woman
smiled at freja and asked, "how old is he?"

we sat on a park bench and watched ducks be social on
the town lake. swim here, waddle there, chase girl duck
over there.

tonight:
we drove out to a stranger's house tonight. we met old friends
and made a new friend.

we sat out by a backyard pond and saw thousands of lightning bugs.

freja is asleep.

i will be too.
